Just as Ballarat dominates the southern end of the Goldfields Track, so Bendigo is its counterpoint at the northern end.

Goldfields history abounds here. Just strolling the streets taking in magnificent 19th century heritage buildings such as the former post office, the law courts and the ornate Hotel Shamrock, it's obvious the wealth gold delivered.

Of course you don't have to walk to take in the sights; let Bendigo's vintage ‘Talking Tram' do the hard work while you relax.
